The course covers the basic principles, structures, synthesis, characterization, properties, and applications in materials science. Emphasizing a solid grasp of the fundamentals of chemistry, we shall focus on the use of learned chemical knowledge to synthesize various materials (such as inorganic, organic, polymeric, metallic, ceramics, biological and nanomaterials) and manipulate their properties.
