This course aims to prepare university students’ to meet the needs of the information society in the 21st century,through understanding the internal relationship between educational phenomena and technological development, as well as mastering the laws of ICT-supported educational reform, and the support that education provided for technological innovation. The content of the course highlights practicality, effectiveness,pertinence, and simplicity. This course aims to develop the informational literacy and digital literacy required for the information society learners,and foster science and engineering students’ self-regulated learning and meta-cognitive capabilities for effective Internet learning. The course will design a targeted education, technology and skills framework to promote students’understanding of the relationship between education and technology, and in-depth understanding of the ideas (theories), forms (media) and methods (tools, models, etc.) of the application of technology in education. It will run in an innovative model to prepare future-ready talents needed by the future society. This course will help students to familiarize themselves with and master the fundamental knowledge and skills of education and technology;Students are expected to form an epistemological system of education a technology and master the development history of the interaction between education and technology; They will develop self-regulated learning and self-monitoring capabilities for effective Internet learning, the digital literacy required in the information age and becoming self-regulated, collaborative and meta-cognitive learners who are able effective obtain and process educational information resources in Internet learning.
