This honors course includes the Jordan normal form of a matrix with entries in a field, matrix similarity, the Smith normal form of a matrix with entries in an Euclidean domain, bilinear/sesquilinear forms, the classification of quadratic forms and orthogonal similarity, Hermitian spaces and unitary similarity, inner product space and the spectral theorem for symmetric/Hermitian operators.
