Upon completing the course, students should be able to know main natural disasters and the formation mechanisms, the situation of natural hazards in our country, and basic methodologies and techniques for natural disaster prevention. This course will help students to deepen their understanding of earth science, contribute to the broadening of knowledge, and provide an interesting reference for students' choice of research direction in the later stage.
