This course will mainly focus on computer control (digital control) theory, including discrete-time LTI state space system analysis, realization, elementary feedback control, system performance, input-output stabilization theory, H2 and H_inf optimization, etc. The course objective is let students to master the basic theory of linear digital systems and control, understand how the theory can be applied to practical problems, and learn the research trend in digital control so to be ready to conduct research in digital control.
