This course will adopt a combined approach of theoretical instruction and practical training. Through training in fundamental musical skills such as pitch and rhythm, students will acquire preliminary singing abilities, leading to training in vocal techniques and practical singing of repertoire. The course will begin by training students in pitch and rhythm, utilizing sheet music, listening exercises, and rhythm drills to ensure accurate pitch and steady rhythm. Subsequently, training in vocal techniques will include exercises in breath control, vocal techniques, and singing language. Finally, students will perform repertoire, with an emphasis on Chinese works supplemented by Western pieces, analyzing the content of the pieces and performing them.
