理论课，1学分，2学时/周，1-8周。无先修课程。中英双语教学。本课程有三项任务。第一为问题讨论与内容引入：讨论青年人“为什么上大学”和“为什么人的发展与大学有关”；再通过人力资本理论的发展，将人力资本、大学与人的发展联系起来；然后讨论人的四类能力：认知能力、非认知能力，专业能力与通用能力。第二为研究性讲述，从现状讲起、到得以提高、再到多因素的影响机制：讲述具有代表性的中国大学生的通用能力现状，分析大学生的能力需要得到提高的原因，讨论大学开展的活动类型和教育教学方法可以影响到学生能力的提高。第三是对选课学生进行能力训练，包括实证调研能力、演讲能力和思维能力在内的意向性训练。
HEC030, Introduction to student capacity developmentLecture, 1 credits, 2 hours/week, (1-8) week. No prerequisite. English-Chinese.This course is with three tasks. In the first, it will discuss on the reasons why young people going university and why human development is related to university. Then to combine human capacity, university and human capital together through on the development of human capital theory from no capacities to yes capacities in. After that, I will discuss about on the four capacities which are cognitive and non-cognitive, professional and general capacities. In the second, it will lecture about the status of Chinese college students’ capacities, the reasons and mechanism of Chinese universities enhance students’ capacities. In the last, it will train students’ capacities in survey, presentation and thinking.
