Natural history is an ancient comprehensive study of the interaction between man and nature, as well as one of the four major traditions of natural science. Natural history has developed slowly, but it has accumulated rich human wisdom in its thousands of years of history. Natural history is not only a way of life, but also a practice. Today, it is of great practical significance to advocate natural history and view the world from the perspective of natural history. This course will invite scholars who are representatives in the fields of natural history, to introduce the historical development of natural history, an overview of the nature and history of Shenzhen, wildlife in photographic works, natural history paintings skills, and so on. The topics include the theoretical basis, historical origins, and diverse practices of natural history. Students will learn the basic knowledge of natural history and understand the frontier through these lectures. It can also promote natural education and build ecological civilization.<br/>
