本课程为已完成《中级汉语 II》的学生开设，学习内容多以反映中国社会生活的长对话和叙述性小段落为主。课程旨在进一步提高和扩展留学生的汉语知识与运用能力，在能够分析理解较长句子的基础上，加深他们对中国文化、历史与现实等方方面面的了解。学生将在课文中学习各种功能性表达，在对话等日常交际的基础上，针对各类社会话题展开交流与讨论，逐渐深入中国文化的内核部分。
An advanced course aims to improve students’ Chinese language abilities and extend their knowledge. Most of the learning materials of the course are narrative essays reflecting the contemporary society of China. Students will also learn functional expressions in context and participate in conversations and discussions in various topics. By the end of the course, students will be able to search information and use learned materials to give presentations on their interested topics.
