CH102-15. General Chemistry Laboratory (2)Laboratory, 2 credits, 4 hours per week. Pre-requisites: General Chemistry (CH103),Chemistry: The Central Science (CH105). This course is open to students who are/aren’tmajored in chemistry, it systematically introduces fundamental methods, basic operationsand common instruments of chemical experiments, covering the principles andapplications of chemical experiments. The main contents include: extraction/preparation,separation/purification, and qualitative/quantitative analysis of chemical substances,instrumental analysis (visible spectrophotometer, Abbe refractometer), data processingand error analysis, etc.
